Job Description The Account Supervisor is responsible for supporting our clients driving the growth of their brands through the development of key national retail programs for the Grocery channel, specifically within Publix and Ahold. The individual in this role provides exceptional client service, thought leadership, and exemplary project management of day-to-day account tasks and projects. They are an independent business owner, responsible for annual planning, channel strategy, and program planning and execution by partnering with sales, clients, cross-functional agency peers, and other stakeholders as needed to improve processes and practices: Provides day-to-day leadership and ownership of the strategic plan execution and ensures the final product achieves the clients and agencys objectives. Applies marketing business objectives to client requests and opportunities Assists in the identification and application of shopper and marketing insights and strategies (for programs, plans, etc.) Oversees the day-to-day execution and ensures high-quality, cost-effective results. Proactively provides point of view / implications, demonstrating value-added client-service Challenge status quo: push thinking (client + internal) to be seen as leaders in the industry; ask questions about how to do things better/different. Seek opportunities to develop award winning work/submit for awards Proactively seek out and share knowledge (i.e., retailer, category, brand, marketing, vendor, etc.) with actionable implications to internal and client teams Ability to scale ideas from close-in / realistic to forward-thinking or innovative opportunities to push client Be a thought-leader and retailer expert; network with key contacts outside of own area of expertise Presents new ideas and innovative approaches to solving client business issues.
