NaphCare has an exceptional opportunity for a Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN)-PRN to join our healthcare team at the Alden, NY. This position provides chronic hemodialysis care and treatment, develops nursing plans involving assessment, planning and implementation, evaluation, training, and education; communicates with the physician and other members of the healthcare team to interpret, adjust and complete patient care plans and assists in research studies. The Hemodialysis RN provides safe, effective delivery of age-specific patient care as overseen in compliance with standards and regulations.
Position Requirements:
Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of employment, as well as a valid CPR certification, with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Hemodialysis Staff RN in a healthcare setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred.
Performance Expectations:
* Demonstrate applicable knowledge of policies and procedures related to the position.
* Demonstrate an ability to perform technical skills including patient treatment, water treatment facility and emergency procedures.
* Assist with and perform all procedures of safe operation, disinfection, and inventory control according to policy, manufacturer recommendation, and regulatory agency guidelines.
* Assume administrative duties under direction.
* Additional duties and specific projects as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

* Working knowledge of automotive systems, and diagnostic ability to include: internal engine, suspension, brakes, electronic, exhaust, etc.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals; ability to write simple correspondence

* Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

About This Position

The facility is a fully operational correctional facility servicing multiple business lines, with opportunities to:
- Unload, receive and putaway product into the onsite warehouse
- Selecting product for individual orders and assisting in the delivery of orders
- Accurately manage inventory in a dynamic environment to include counting product and correcting inventory
- Inventory, stocking and maintaining the planogram of vending machines at client facilities

What You'll Need

- Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
- Must complete pre-employment background check and drug screening test

- Must be Available Monday - Wednesday and Friday from 7am-12pm
