About our team:
The Engineering Test Lab performs tests on hardware and software changes, across the entire Raymond product line, prior to customer release. We support Reliability, Engineering, Marketing, and Manufacturing.
About the position:
We're looking for a second shift Software or Systems Test Engineer at our headquarters in Greene, NY to complete testing and analysis on Raymond's full portfolio of forklift, warehouse management systems, energy, and automated solutions. You will:- Create innovative solutions for basic to complex vehicle systems utilizing traditional electrical and software engineering techniques such as design, development, implementation, maintenance, test, and evaluation.
- Be the test point contact for multiple projects. Understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately in an evolving and dynamic environment.
- Complete assignments that are broad in nature which require originality and ingenuity to complete.
- Have project management responsibilities for small projects or subsets of large projects.
- Participate in the integration and regression testing of software and system functionality.
- Create test plans, templates, and strategies for multiple test flows such as unit tests, functional tests, and hardware in-/out-of-loop tests.
- E nsure test results are documented and submitted.
- Keep manager informed of progress, changes, priorities, and project cost/schedule status.
- Provide support for new product development teams.
- Work with cross-functional groups at the direction of a lead engineer or program manager.
About the schedule:
This position is 2 nd shift and will work 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m.
About you:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering (electrical, software, systems, control systems, mechatronics, or computer), computer science, or a related field.- 1+ year of engineering experience.
- Ability to plan, organize, and carry out technical activities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both independent and group settings.
It would be great if you had:- Familiarity with Linux development environment.
- Solid understanding of programming techniques using C, C++, C#, Python, Structured Text or similar languages.
- Basic understanding of network and communications technology - CAN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, UWB, Bluetooth, etc.
- Experience with virtual and/or physical servers running Windows.
- Industrial control systems experience including PLCs, OPC Servers, or Kepware.
- Knowledge of interface development between warehouse or manufacturing control systems and third-party software and hardware solutions.
- National Instruments LabVIEW, VeriStand, TestStand experience.
- Experience with Vector CAN Tools, XCP , Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, Matlab/Simulink, dSpace AutomationDesk and ControlDesk.
About the total compensation package:
Salary - Expected to be between $72,000 and $103,000 depending on the selected candidate's background.

We're looking for a Systems Reliability Engineer who will be involved in all aspects of the development process. You will:- Develop and implement the reliability qualification plan for both new and existing designs, the resolution of design issues, and customer special requests. This includes analyses, verification, validation, and field testing.
- Drive the investigation of root cause analysis and develops validation plans for resolution.
- Gather and analyzes reliability data from field sites and databases to show trends of current products.
- Participate in design reviews for risk analyses and test plans.
- Predict future reliability data based on current data, design analyses, and stress/risk analysis.

- Track and drive issues to closure through investigation, root cause analysis, and the implementation of countermeasures.
- Assist in diagnosing component and system malfunctions, isolating problems, and recommending improvements.
- Work cross-functionally to establish test and functionality requirements, reliability targets, customer expectations, test plans, and endurance fixture testing required to validate them.
- Participate in the development and improvement of reliability department standard methods and practices.

We're looking for an Electronic Systems Engineer who will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of Electronic Control Systems on models in all three Industrial Truck Association (ITA) classes in New Product Development. You will:
- Complete assignments that are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.
- Work with limited supervision with latitude for some independent and unreviewed actions.
- Manage small projects or subsets of large projects

- Ensure that sub-system and component designs comply with Raymond and industrial requirements (UL, CE, etc.).

- Partner with procurement and supplier quality departments to develop and qualify suppliers of electronic controls and components.
- Design robust solutions using modern microcontrollers, analog and digital sensor elements, and power regulation circuits.
- Perform initial circuit board bring-up and measure performance to verify functional requirements.
- Travel as needed to other Raymond divisions, customers, and supply partners (5%)
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Bio-electrical, Robotics, Control Systems) and Computer Science.
- Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, planning, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to present technical material to a technically diverse audience.

About the position:
We're looking for a Mechanical Systems Engineer to design and commercialize new products and sub-systems. You will:
- Utilize a proactive, systems engineering approach to problem solving.
- Work under the supervision of a senior engineer or manager to investigate issues, establish root cause, and make adaptations/modifications to existing designs. May initiate original designs.
- Complete assignments including engineering analysis and design of various basic to complex vehicle systems.

- Work with Test Engineering to develop new components. Establish test and functionality requirements either at supplier or in our test lab, as well as reliability targets and test plans to validate them.
- Keep the manager informed of progress, changes, priorities, and project cost/schedule status.
- May recommend changes in project direction in response to changing business requirements.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for most decisions.
- Travel to customers and suppliers as required.
About you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Systems, or Industrial Engineering.
- Less than two years of experience requires a minimum 3.0 GPA
- 2+ years of experience requires a minimum of 2.3 GPA
It would be great if you had:
- Knowledge and experience with fabrication and assembly processes supporting the ability and desire to take a hands-on approach.
- Contributor as part of a multi-disciplinary inter-company team.
- Proficiency in the use of Pro-Engineer / Creo or a similar 3D modeling software.
- Familiarity with the Toyota Production System.
- An understanding of GD&T and the basic principles of DFMA.
